vcustom86 just took notice that you did a egr delete to yor 2007. did you notice mpg incraese with that and exhaust?
Don't do fire rings on a daily driver, the heat up and cool down cycles are hard on them, do o-rings and studs.

In every case I've seen, there is a considerable increase in fuel mileage on a 6.7 Cummins when you delete the DPF and do a turbo back exhaust. Deleting the EGR won't necessarily increase mileage, but your engine is far better off without it.

I know what you mean. Helped a guy put a 5" turbo back, EGR delete, and an H&S on a 2012 Cummins that only had about 8k miles on it the other day. His DPF completely clogged up on him 4 times, the dealership replaced it the first 3 times under warranty, they wouldn't replace it the 4th time because they said the 35" tires he had on it were what was causing it to clog up

So they pulled an o2 sensor out of the exhaust so it could crawl to the shop and we got to work. Not much else you can do in that situation.

i know it sucks that i have to have a muffler but the wife drives it right now and wants it on there.

as for leaks, valve covers gaskets, small leak at oil pan, gasket at fuel injection pump where it bolt to front cover. trans pan gasket, some thing on the top side of the motor right side behind the tubro. have not found it yet. last the water pump o-ring gasket.
got my work cut out for me.
