Wanting a 12v might have to settle for 24
Well it will be hard for me to leave the fuel plate and governor alone after reading up on these motors. First will be gauges, exhaust, bhaf. I will really want to slide the stock plate forward as soon as I get it home but I'll pr ably drive it stock for awhile waiting for the gauges to come in the mail.
The autos in stock form have their flaws, but then again so do then manuals, it just takes a little more up front to get an auto where you want it. If its built to handle the power, it'll handle it.

One of the reasons you won't see me posting here much any more is I'm tired of the goobers with nothing better to do than dig up a 3-week old post to post crap like this.

Check your facts. They seem to be a precious rare commodity around here.
Uh, that would be incorrect.

1) This wasnt a 3 week old thread I "dug up". It was on the first page of the potential diesel owners section, so I hardly "dug it up". The real reason I posted was to address Oklahoma diesel's post about automatics tranny's.
2) I've been around here for a little while, and I always try to post relevant, useful, and most importantly, true, information. I honestly did not know that the NV5600 was an option prior to the HO Cummins that came out in 2001. I have never seen one, heck, or even heard of one, and prior to reading about it on dodgeram.org, did not know it was an option. I slipped up once, MY BAD.
Agreed

Every one I have ever talked to said that's how to tell if it's an ho or a ro engine.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I ended up buying a 95 long bed regular cab 4x4 3/4 ton with a fresh auto in it. I wanted a manual but a built up auto is what I'm looking at doing now. I was in the market for a 12 valve so could haul junk off my property and haul my v8 2wd s10 to the strip but I might sell my s10 to fund a built 47rh so I can have a daily driver/hauler/sleeper. Thanks
