If you cant afford to do things right, dont do them at ALL. You will only regret it later on. These aren't race trucks, they are made to pull sh*t. And i dont mean your little beach buddies.

I have a 1997 12 valve, with the factory turbo, bosch injectors, 351 horsepower and 1102 lb ft of torque. i have seen my boot guage hit 52lbs. Yes.....out of a stock turbo. Do I do it all the time? HECK no... but I have done it a time or 2 for those guys that dont believe. Does it blow black everywhere I go? No it doesnt. But it can if i romp the crap out of it all the time, but thats not me. i love it! AND its currently on the market!!!!

If youve been runnin the stock HX35 to 52lbs Im not sure if I would want your truck

Spend 20-30 bucks on an adjustable boost elbow, dial it in for 35psi, and call it a day.

But otherwise I agree with ya.
