Default 12v cummins build/swap

okay so I bought a 1990 12v cummins and Dana 60 kingpin front and Dana 70 rear for $1250 with 160k miles. That I will be swaping into a 1987 GMC R2500 2wd heavy 3/4ton but before I begin the swap I am goning to build the engine. So far I have the engine down to a short block. The plan is to push 400-500 hp this truck will be a DD, occasional pull and drag with the truck. I already bought a Denny-T stage 2 pin and 4200k governor spring, I plan on getting head studs better valve springs and retainers and keepers. Not sure if I need to buy better valves or not? Also should I run 100hp injecotrs or what would you guys suggest also should I upgrade the pistons or not. Also if anyone could shed some light on the best turbo the truck will be a DD, pull a trailer hauling cattle and occasionaly pull a sled and go do the strip. thanks for any advice

one thing you need to do while the motor is out is do the killer dowel pin fix.
as for the i would think you would be fine with the stock valves.
you could run 90 or 100 injectors and be fine, any bigger than that and the truck would smoke to much while daily driving,
as for the turbo, i'm not sure.

I plan on doing the kdp the first thing I did when I pulled the front cover off is see how far out the kdp was and pushed it back in just have to buy or make my own holder for it thanks on the advice for the injectors I will probably go for the 100hp injectors also plan on using arp studs or bolt for the mains and rods to just for add security.

Okay so I am on the fence about injectors I am looking at either 100hp injectors 5x12 or 200hp injectors 5x16 marine spray(155*) sac they should work with the large bowl stock pistons that are in the 1990 cummins right? Also looking for a good turbo was looking at a 63/68/.88 Borg Warner AirWerks S300SX3 S363 product Part # 177283 not sure if it will be good for a DD/work Truck
