I'm looking at an 01 F350 Crew/Dually, Automatic, 7.3 PSD w/344k on the odo. Truck is in overall good condition. I can get it for $7,500.- Carfax is good, trying to obtain an Oasis also. What are your thoughts. Is this a good deal?

Looks pretty clean from the one picture. Around here that truck goes for about $11k-$12k depending on overall condition. I would go for it.

Car fax doesnt show any major work having been done. Routine service, trans service, 1 minor accident. Trying to get an Oasis from local dealer. Will the Oasis show anything more than Car fax does?

or an 04 F350 CC Dually, 4x4, auto, one owner, 176k on the odo....$8500.-

The 04 is a 6.0L though.

I wouldnt go for the 6.0. Id rather go for the higher milage 7.3 Gunman's questions are what you need to ask if you can and the only thing I would add to that is have any of the Glowplugs been replaced and has there ever been an issue with the fuel bowl heater? Plus ask about the front end components, brakes, tires, and the normal stuff haha
