I think he's confusing a Wastegate and a BOV.

The BOV that BD sells is actuated by the TPS ( or apps depending on the year of your truck) , and is quite expensive.

you must put on a video clip of how it sounds it would be interesting to hear a diesel make the "psshh" sound when clutching
