I'm with you Jeff, I was real surprised to see anything negative posted about it. Hell, Ron didn't even have the police do their grounds patrol like last year cause there was no need at all.

Good to meet you man. Sorry I didn't have more time. I was kinda at a loss with my truck and needed to figure it out.

Next year I bet will be even better !

Good to meet ya Triton. Glad to finally see under the hood during Tech.

For the delays in drag racing, I really wont apologize. It was pretty hot out. You have to understand THE SHOW IS THE TRUCKS RUNNING DOWN THE TRACK! We do what we can to allow these trucks to cool off. Everyone knows broke trucks don't make passes therefore there goes your show. Also take into account the money and time that each driver and his family invested JUST FOR THAT RACER TO GET THERE THAT DAY! We take great strides to make sure that every driver is safe, yet has a great time.
If you had a shitty time as a spectator, JOIN! RACE or PULL! Its better seating from YOUR truck and a hell of alot more fun.

well coming from someone who's been to a number of events, you went to a good one. Vendor alleys usually aren't that big ( if there even is one ), the number of trucks racing/pulling usually aren't that many and the fact no one broke made things even smoother. Wait till you get to a race that someone oils down the track on.... it can take hours to clean it up enough for passes to be made again. Talk about a long, hot, slow wait !

I've also seen sled pullers go well into the night past 12am. They had a few issues but, if no one was on the ball.... those issues could have lasted all day and night.

In my experience going to races.... just plan to be hot as hell, have plenty of drink with you, bring a tent or umbrella, plan to wait between classes and/or breaks and think about what it took and the people it took to put on a event of that size. There's a lot of behind the scenes work months in advance to pull it off.

I'm not saying the fans/spectators owe the event organizers anything. If they didn't do it though, you'd have nothing to disagree/complain about. I'm sure they'd rather see you post constructive criticism or suggestions rather than just say you thought it sucked. If you went expecting a gasser type event, I can see your disappointment. No diesel event that I've ever been too can compare. Diesel racing is basically new in comparison and needs to grow. Having people like us continuing to show support whether it was the best show or not is what is going to get the events to where many would like to see them. At least like you said... you'll be back

I hear the Englishtown event is pretty big but, it's Class 8 trucks and monster trucks. It's a whole different type of event. I believe they approached NADM to be a part of it and I understand there are some talks going on about it. The problem is it's the same weekend and their PA event.

Everyone should just keep coming and bring as many friends as you can. One day diesel events could be like a NHRA event
