hey yall, so i have an 01 duramax with the lb7. i was wondering if anyone knew how to install or make a manual high idle switch.

 

Hey buddy. Alligator performance sells one for 20 bucks on their website. Have to get the dealer to activate that option in the computer though more than likely. The website is Diesel Performance Parts & Products | Alligator Performance.

I did my '01 K-3500. ECM terminal C1-71. You'll need a pin for the ECM, wire, and a switch. I used a lighted rocker switch so the wiring was a little different for that, but basically you need to give that ECM pin 12v. All done.
I've read that some need the ECM programmed to enable the high idle, but mine was hot as soon as I powered it.
