So a good buddy of mine just bought a '03 Dmax. Completely stock 120K miles except for lift, tires, and wheels. He asked what performance mods he should do. I recommended EFI live, 4in TB exhaust, and a AFE intake. Now, hes not the best driver and doesnt need any high HP mods. He doesnt want to have any pillar guages because he wants a monitor like I have for my Edge or H&S tuners. Would the Edge juice be a good programmer for this truck since he wants the monitor? I dont like the quadzilla's on the Dodges and I havent driven a Dmax with it. Just looking to see what the majority of everyone runs.

I have had many problems with my edge. Not sure if it was just a bad one but every part of it has been replaced or flashed. It needs to be checked out again bit its out of warranty so its 150 to fix it now. It depends on how mild he wants to go on his tunes bit if u dont do anything big u shouldnt need guages. Its not suggested but it should be fine with milder tunes.

It's a good HP tuner, but I've got a stage 4 trans and it just hates it. Ended up blowing out my rear main seal, oil pan gasket and injectors. I would randomly kick down real hard, it threw me into the dash board and I ain't no small dude. 300 pounds worth. Lol.
