nope, if anything itl be a drop in boost as in a result of better flow.

you wont be loosing any power.

I did this to my 01 lb7 and 2 days later the service light came onand read: Intake heater plug circut open. i just e-tapped the end upand zip tiedit out of the way. i would like to get rid of the light so i can keep the plug in for a boost gauge later on. anyone else havethis happen? if so let me know!

P.S. love all the D.I.Y post on this sight! Saved me a couple hundred bucks already
