There is now an expensive but good thermostat housing for the Jeep that has a replaceable thermostat.

I am looking for an electric fan kit for my CRD. I have been running without a fan since last fall.

I am going to install the expensive thermostat housing and would like to install an electric fan kit at the same time.

I was told the 92 to 94 Volvo fans were slimmer and easier to mount. I'm not sure if you use the Volvo shroud or if you have to make one.

If anybody knows of a link that would tell me exactly what I need, I would order the parts. Or if anybody knows what is needed and would round up the parts for a reasonable price, I would be very interested.

I am about out of time for the electric fan and will have to buy a new fan clutch soon - I would feel like I am wasting my money doing that. The electric fan is the way to go.

I finally got tired of the thermostat issues, the rocker issues, and more and replaced them all with a 2006 Dodge Megacab 2500 CTD. Best mod I ever did to the Liberty CRD. Don't know why I waited so long!

That would be my preferred fix for my 6.5 woes also. LOL

Did you find another Dodge for me? Or are you ready to part with yours yet?
