The Rig You Want ... Realisticly
How about my truck with a set of Maximized twins, ATS 2-CP3, Crower Rods, Mike L. Sun Coast Trans., Co-Pilot, a bitchen EFI tune, some modified LB7 pistons or forged if they prove reliable, traction bars, stacks built my way and an E Locker for the front. Anyone got an extra 30 grand
My 91 all the little kinds sorted out. Straighten all the body panels and lay down some black paint that looks a mile deep. Two tens behind the seat for some kick with all the other little stereo goodies, redo the interior in black trim. Redo the dash gauges with cobalt C2's. Put hydroboost brakes on. Good t/c and v/b. A little pump work, injectors, and a 62/12 turbo. Oh yea, black all the chrome out. Do the bumpers in black chrome and paint the grille black.

something similar to shortbed's idea except a crewcab 1st gen dually, 2wd slammed on the ground with an Ali-Arc front cow catcher polished to a high shine, 17 inch KMC Rockstars with short dune grapplers, nice short chrome stealth stacks tucked tight together right behind the rear slider and a decently built motor, about 275-300 horsepower, or a nice newer duramax all stock with some nice wheels and 285's, no tune or anything, just a sunday driver, then i could build a 2wd diesel pulling truck.....
who needs efi when you got a P7100
Hmmmmmmm do I have to pick just one?
I've always liked the old 1st gen Dodges. Find me a nice straight 3/4 ton extended cab 4x4 w/ a manual. Swap the motor and transmission out for a 215hp 12v and 6 speed. And then the usual stuff (ground down fuel plate, exhaust, turbo, injectors, etc.).

Honestly exactly what I have except built to hold 500 HP reliably and a Mega cab Long bed.
Now if I was deaming it would have 1200 HP without giggle gas and still be my daily driver and reliable.

'97 F350 crew cab 4x4 SRW with the list of goodies that's on my garage wall and a mild 6BTA marine engine for the powerplant.
Gotta have the chrome rocker covers, intake pipes, and water pipes, too.
