i own a 12v cummins-
them- do you have a chip in that thing?
me- no sir, mechanical injection.
them-? my buds powerstroke has a chip and its crazy fast, runs 16's (quarter mile time)

me- id like to check the availability of a np271 transfer case seal

What is the dumbest question someone asked you about your Truck?
I got one a few days ago. Kid comes up and says "really nice truck! Are you selling it?" I said possibly. He says "do you have one of those gas tanks in here that make it roll coal?" I said no... And I'm actually not interested in selling this to you. Bye.

Also this happened at a Jeep Jamboree a handful of years ago to some of us FSJ guys.

well the other day we had a guy in a commonrail pull up beside us in my friends 12v. he was about 75 years old and he rolled down his window, w/ his wife beside him, and asks what are you going to do with all that smoke? my friend tells him i'm going to let it hang there. the old man smiles, then proceeds to beat my friend horribly from the light. funniest thing i've seen for a long time. the old guy honks and waves when he turns off and his wife griping the whole time. nice to see things don't change as you get older haha. i met my idol that day.
