Another question...... what is all this marine stuff everybody keeps talking about? exp. marine cylinders, marine dampners.

 

Marine stuff is off marine-speced engines. A lot of things (headgaskets for one) are called "marine" even though they are not specific to the marine application. Pistons are one thing that is usually specific to marine applications; they tend to be lower compression. Injectors tend to be sac-types, which are better for power but worse for emissions. I don't know about dampners.
