converting a dually to a single wheel??

the cab and chassis has a longer frame than an 8' bed will fit. it will have a gap between the bed and cab. also the rear axle on the c&c is narrower.

Why get rid of the flatbed? If it's too wide, just trim it a little.

Its easy to do. Remove the front dually adaptors, remove the dually fenders, throw a new bed at it. Are you swapping axles?

On a few of the railroad trucks they have the DRW front and rear hubs and just run a single rear wheel on the back. I think they have longer nuts. And they do not have the fender extender on it. If ya want to do it on the cheap that is what I would do.
