Default jeep liberty crd?

Any body here have a Liberty CRD? If you do, do you like it? I've read some bad reviews and some good. I'm looking for something bigger than the VW but not as big as a suburban. Should I just build a 50's ****** wagon with a mercedes 617? By the way where's a good place to find 617 parts for a rebuild. I got one free but it has a spun bearing, don't know if it is worth fixing.

I've driven both and the diesel liberty is a MUCH nicer version. Much more pep to them and you can hardly tell its a diesel...... Like the new VW's

I've read alot about bad torque converters and the mopar solution was to de-tune the engine. I'm wondering if some one makes an aftermarket converter that can take the power.
