Ok guys I have a couple of questions for those of you that may have built a performance transmission or two!! If you have read up on me you know that my dad and I run a shop and that I am trying my best to get into the performance diesel scene Well I have personaly never built a tranny. My dad has built plenty but not a diesel tranny with billet shafts and the works. My questions are where is the best place to get billet shafts, the best clutches and bands, and the best fluid to use?? I dont have anybody wanting me to build a tranny yet but I wana be prepared for when the time comes....hopefully it will come....more than likely my first will be a dodge tranny so if you have any info on that I will greatly appreciate it!!! THANKS!!!

 

many places actually i would recommend suncoast they are well known and have full billet shafts and transmissions rated to any horsepower level no matter what!!!

but their are others like Georand(specifically for dodge) ATS (youll pay for it wit a shiny penny) just gotta do a search on the internet

 

Well, what exactly are you wanting to do with this transmission? What shafts are you looking for? Since we build in house we have access to everything as you can imagine.
