yea i got duals on my 6.2 well i just leave the windows down everywhere i go sounds so mean when its bouncin off houses. what i really hate is i work at a car wash and people get mad cause i just might see if i can get some smoke out of theirs had a guy one day with a chipped cummins and like 5 in exhaust get pissed cause i was tappin the pedal

One of the towns I live by(18 miles away) has 2 yes count them 2! stop lights on mainstreet. One has 2 story buildings on both sides. It gets loud there.
Actually its pointed down so I DON'T blow smoke at every intersection.
2) You have your pass side mirror permenantly tilted down, so you can see the smoke dump out the tailpipe at every intersection.

When you pull over to eat when on the highway and your whole family just sits there for 5 minutes or so without even ashing what are we doing.They know they must let the turbo cool down.

4) Your friends think you are weird because every full sized truck that goes by catches your attention, and you are breaking your neck trying to see if you can see "Powerstroke" "Cummins" or "Duramax" written anywhere on it. And then when you find out it's only a 1/2 ton you are pissed you even bothered.

Some of those apply to me, but not very many anymore. I like the power and mileage, but could do without the sound and smell, in the cab anyways. Guess I don't really love them?? I don't really care if I'm seen driving one, in fact I tint the windows in all my trucks so nobody sees me in the first place.

The othernight I was inebriated, and the wife had to drive home from the bar. She pulled out slow and driving like 10 mph and I told her that god didn't put turbos on this earth for no one to hear them..so she let her spool...and she said and I quote "man I love that sound" then she said " can we put one on my Durango?" what have I done..
