Default coolant draining

got a 97 cummins 2500. i need to flush out my coolant system. some oil got in there i think i got a head gasket problem. i basically know how but just want somebody who really knows what they are doin to tell me how to do it the "right" way with tips and stuff before i just dive into it.

the correct way to do it is get a flush kit and radiator flush. the way we do it is take 1 cup cascade powdered dish soap and disolve it in 2 gallons of water poor it in the radiator, add water till full. drive for a few hundred miles drain redo then flush it again. worked for me(had 2 gallons of oil for 3 gallons of coolant) and a number of guys i know
