I couldn't tell you what it is here. Never look at them pumps. Just know it isn't worth getting caught with it.

Question?? Couldn't you just say you run ATF in your tank for extra lubricity? It's red...... Not saying i condone off road fuel in this way. just thinking out loud

You would have to dump in a LOT of ATF to dye your tank red like offroad diesel. If you didnt put that much in youd probably be safe cause your truck would be in the shop and youd be walking to work.

Its definitely not worth the risk.

Geez, some or y'all took me way to illiterately!! Ever heard of "sarcasm" or"tongue in cheek"??? I still have no sympathy for the fool though. He got caught; plain and simple and should "cowboy up".

what if you run kerosene in your truck as a cold start additive, can they get you for that also?

In wisconsin, anything untaxed for non road use is illegal. They started to crack down on people running home brew veggie.... They want their $$$$$

Actually you dont need papers. Federal laws. We run our own mix, but we have ingredients so it is considered and additive. Our mix is made of mostly veggie oil. When "authority" asks about it we say "the new low-sulfur fuel kills injectors and injection pumps, the veggie oil lubricates the injectors and injection pump so they last longer". Simple as that, and they cant touch us.
