No power steering or brakes

Today out of the blue my power steering and power brakes don't work. Previous posts suggest my power steering shaft is probably broken. Is that an easy fix or just need to get it to the mechanic?

there is no response still and i have no suggestion so better to rush to the mechanic for a quick and accurate suggestion than waiting anymore here

Have you checked your belt

When the belt broke on my 1999 F-250, my power steering & brakes didn't work

its still best to take it to a mechanic. The sooner the better.

I'm pretty sure your Dmax has Hydroboost so your power steering pump also supplies the power assist for your brakes. Either your pump is bad or your hydroboost unit.
