Default Looking to buy a new Diesel, help me compare?

What's going on I've been looking to get a new diesel and I've come across 2 that really caught my eye. Can't figure out which one to go with, which of the two would you recommend. They are both modified in a way so it's kind of hard for me to compare.

1st: 1999 dodge ram 2500 cummins

2nd: 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty 7.3l

The prices that are posted can be fully negotiated I already managed to get the Powerstroke owner to drop the price down to 12k

so does the stroker but 80k on the motor i would still go with the cummins unless you can get a better deal with the stroker if he comes down to like 11k idk thats tough cuz its a deal but i would try to talk that cummins down besides i had a cummins with 230 and i did lots a work to it and it ran really strong the only thing that ended up going bad was the turbo but its way easier to get power if your looking for more eventually your gonna need a hpop to make that 7.3 really run

They're both really nice, tough call. Cummins is the better engine, although a 7.3 is pretty darn good too. Dodge trans is weak, but can be built up. I like the Ford truck overall better personally, wish it had the Cummins in it. Good luck choosing!

I would go with the 7.3. Awesome motor. I have one with 298k miles running stronger than ever. I get the same MPGs as my buddy with his 2013 F250. Yes, like any truck they have their issues easy to fix. New exhaust for EGTs ($300) and new trans cooler ($600).

Best of Luck to you!

Buy Mine!!! I need a bigger truck to my new trailer!
