Turbo Cool Down Times
Driving Condition Load Turbocharger Temp Idle Time (In Minutes)
Stop & Go Empty Cool < 1 Minute
Stop & Go Medium Warm 1 Minute
Highway Speeds Medium Warm 2 Minutes
City Traffic Max GCWR Warm 3 Minutes
Highway Speeds Max GCWR Warm 4 Minutes
Uphill Grade Max GCWR Hot 5 Minutes
I'm sure this can be used on all turbo makes/models. These are the recommended minimum shut down times from an 06 Dodge repair manual. You can go later if you so desire.

coking of the oil will break down and cause alot of problems..........usually see it in a failed turbo first

The turbo timer on my Viper system is set at 3 minutes and in the 100+ degree driving in Houston its usually down to about 385* when it shuts off.

If I wait for 300 my truck would run constantly. Mine will go down to about 325 if it sits for 5 mins but never goes any lower.
