I am a per unit, cost analysis, type of guy.
I bought an $8.00 bottle of Diesel Kleen. It can treat 40 gallons of fuel.
$8.00 divided into 40 gallons equals $0.20 per gallon. THAT'S twenty cents per gallon added to the already high cost of the fuel. With no better than .5 mpg improvement, does it make sense to spend the extra money for so little benefit. I know the Diesel Kleen can lube and quiet etc...
Just can't get past the fact that the $0.20 is adding to the already high price of diesel fuel.

Thoughts?

 

itll clean up injectors and reduce the chance of stiction also. might as well spend an extra $2.00-$4.00 a tank now rather than buy a whole set of injectors.. thats the way i see it. i add it to every tank

 

I run Diesel Kleen and 2-Cycle oil. Keeps the injectors clean/quiet and the engine happy.

 

How much 2 cycle oil do you add to a tank?
I heard you can run Kero if you add the 2 cycle, Has anyone done that?
