4" Lift w/ 35s?

It depends on the wheels, less back space, more lift. I have a 6" Pro Comp all spring lift with 16X10 Eagle Alloy wheels. I ended up moving the front bumper 1.5" forward for more clearance when turning. I've seen 315s on 8 inch wheels, but I wouldn't do it. Fact is, anything over 30 psi and you'd be riding on the center of the tread only. My truck is wearing 14.5X34.5 Toyos in the pics but yu get the idea. I'm rolling 35X12.5 BFGs now. pics to come.

I wouldn't run a 315 on a 7 inch rim, unless it was a spare. We have 38X15.50s Parnelli Jones Dirt Logics on 16X10s on the wife's truck (yeah, my wife has a big a$$ mud truck ) and we have to run at 20 psi max to get a descent contact patch. Any more psi and it rides on the center tread only.

My front tires wear evenly with 50psi in them, the rears the center definitely wears out.
The width you're referring to (315) is all relative to the overall height of the tire. The taller the tire, the less of a stretch it's making. My shorter 33" tires at 12.5" wide wore out in the center really bad being stretched on that 7" wide rim. The 315/70's are a taller tire, so the stretch isn't as severe (trigonometry coming into play here!), so the wear isn't as bad.
I buy most of my tires used anyways, and end up killing them in burnouts before I can wear them out anyways.
I'm stretching a 12.5" wide tire onto a 7" wide rim, you're stretching a 15.5" wide tire onto a 10" wide rim... same stretch according to the numbers... however yours is taller, so less of a stretch again, and on 16" tall wheels, even less stretch... Trigonometry I tell you!

Not a regular cab but i have had both lifts with 35's.
My first truck was a 2002 Shortbed crew with 4" and 35" Nitto trails.
Current is a 2002 Longbed Crew with a 6" and 35" Mickeys
Even with 4" on my first truck I had some rubbing at full lock with flexion. It was mostly on the plastic valence piece under the front bumper. Just trimmed it and took care of that. Current truck 0 rubbing.
