Default In-cab Filter- Excursion

My neighbor has an '01 or '02 Excursion (7.3 PS) and he says the owners manual says it has an in-cab air filter, but he has no idea where it is or how to replace it......or even if it has one all together. So question is:

1. Does it even have an in-cab air filter?
2. If so, where is it and how do you replace it?
3. What's the part number for the filter?
Thanks

Russell, I think it is going to be under the passenger side dash IIRC. If it has one might start by looking there. Not sure of the part #..
