Default FORD 7.3

If I were in the market for a pickup and it had to be a Ford...My one and only choice would be one with a 7.3...I have owned a 6.0 and a 6.7 and I would not recommend them to anyone...

Means more for the rest of us. I would love to have a 6.0 and a 6.4 or a 6.7 for that matter

I work on 6.0, 6.4, 6.7 on the slope. Hate them all. They just break and break and break. Transmission problems constantly, the computer seems to have trouble communicating with the tranny on the 6.4 the 6.0 are notorious for head gasket, turbo, injectors and egr going bad and the 6.7s.....they just suck to work on....even changing oil isn't fun. They are trying more and more to make you take it to the dealer to work on them with these new plastic oil drain plugs at a messed up angle where it just sprays out at you if you do it on the ground.

But, that's just all what I have seen go on constantly. Perhaps its different in other parts of the world. I love the 7.3. They have problems as well but they don't seem near as bad as all the new stuff.
