Default 7.3 Excursion loss of throttle response

I have a 2000 7.3 Excursion that seems to have an electrical ghost that I cannot find. It has intermittent throttle response loss, but is getting progressively worse. For some reason it does seem to get worse upon braking, but does also do it from time to time while in motion. I have replaced the throttle position sensor (twice in fact, thinking the first one was defective), the CAM position sensor, the high pressure oil system sensor, and the shifter with overdrive wiring. Each time I make a replacement, it seems to offer a short lived, temporary fix but goes right back into the same old trouble. Any suggestions on where to look next...getting tired of just throwing money at it with no solution. Thanks

Welcome to the site! I live in Alfalfa and see your X around all the time. My better half has a black one on 37's...

Have you had the truck scanned?

You've replaced the items I would expect to cause the issue...

I will be in town this weekend, would be happy to scan it for you if you have time.

I do believe that I have seen your X as well. Unfortunately all we have been able to do is OBDII. A more thorough scan would be our next step, and we would absolutely take you up on your offer. We actually live in Redmond...not sure if that works out for you? At this point its parked and we can't drive it ... would be happy to throw you a few bucks for fuel. THANKS!
