any way to tighten up steering?

Default any way to tighten up steering?

i have over 250k miles i have a steering stabilizer on it but my truck still wants to travel so to speak. any way to help fix this?

I believe there is a adjustment bolt on the box. Its a Allen head.

Has a stud with a nut on the top, put a allen key in the stud, loosen the nut, and turn clockwise to take up the lash in the gearbox, then tighten the nut to lock up the stud. Don't get the gears too tight, causes even more wear. 1 adjustment is acceptable, if you need to do it again, you need to replace the box.

tie rods are good normal wear and tear i heard about tightening the gear box ill give it a shot wonder what made it go so bad ? thanks guys

Ball joints? At 120,000 my lowers are junk along with the drag link. I have all of the parts on order, I will be busy next weekend.

just got those replaced about 20k miles ago i know i gota replace my wheel hub asembly this week its starting to squeek allready replaced the left one now gota replace the right one . it was bad before the right wheel hub assembly started to go
