sounds like a cool project. you will have to post pics through the process, good luck.
ford and a manual tranmission were the only mandatory options in my diesel purchase.

i wouldn't do the ZF6. i have one and it was a turd from day one. then it shelled. new one. still a turd. that's why i'm interested in the NV5600.

Good to know. I'm currently looking into the G56 Mercedes tranny. So far it looks like they are available with SAE bellhousing patterns. Now if I could just rob a bank....
