my truck is shifting in and out of OD at highway speeds..wont hold cruise control without downshifting..also my SES light will come on randomly at idle and i have no throttle til it goes away..and when i put my foot under the pedal and pull up it will bring the same affect with the SES light. pulled codes and its says its a tps but the guy at the shop said he doesnt know if its the sensor on the accelerator of under the hood...im not really sure what to think anyone have any ideas.

 

ok pull the trim around the steering column and locate the 3 wires that come out of the shifter and unplug them. then inspect the wires carefully, especially the first 3" where they come out of the shifter. i got 10 bucks they're chafed right there and switching in and out of O/D
