Default Rear Axle seal replacement

I just noticed oil running down my tire the other day on my 01 F350 SD. rear axle seal is gone. does anyone have any incite on replacing it. thanks in advance.

well pull the 8 bolts that hold the axle shaft in. then take brakeclean and get all the oil off both parts. then cut out some gasket paper to fit. i would do both sides.

no if its leaky its bad,get some gasket paper at your local auto parts store cut to fit and install the paper

that's what i meant... get some gasket paper. the 1/16" stuff. cut it out and put it back together

Are you talking about the inner hub seal or the axle flange gasket leaking? If it is the hub seal you have to go deeper than the 8 bolts. You would also have to take the large axle nut and pull the hub off to change that seal.
