Changing 38r housing

Default Changing 38r housing

i have a BRAND NEW 38r setting here an i bought a 1.15 housing what do i need to do to change it, Does the shaft have to come out. An anytime the shaft comes out isnt it supposed to be rebalanced. thanks

Should just be able to unbolt the old housing and install the new one.

The 38r can not be rebuilt, so there is no reason to worry about rebalancing it...

To change the housing remove the 4 bolts (8mm) that hold the housing to the center section.

Then remove the housing and reverse.
