The truck is a 1999 F250 super duty turbo diesel power stroke. Just got the truck do not know about diesel engines. The truck started to just not start and i would make it start with starting fluid. but as the days passed it used up more and more cans of starting fluid to start. and now it just won't start.

bought the glow plug already and nothing. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA???

 

STOP with the starter fluid Have you pulled any codes? Also you need to move this to the 1999-2003 section to get the right attention.

 

NO STARTING FLUID WITH GLOW PLUG MOTORS!! bad things happens

is the check engine light on?

have you ever checked the fuel filter?

how's the oil level?

what's your weather like?

how much and what color smoke do you see when trying to start it?
