Default Time for a noob question

Ok, how do you upload pictures to a thread? I have the photobucket account and when i try to put a picture in a thread it just shows up as a box with a red X thru it. I'm lost!

save your photo to an album, then click on the picture you want in the post and there will be a URL box below the picture copy that link, then go make a post like normal and click on the little box with the mountains and a little sun that says instert image and just paste that url in the box that pops up
