even better idea CSI! i never even thought about that. now running A/C at about 1000 RPM won't hurt anything will it?

When it's cold out my truck will idle itself from 800-1100 RPM depending on the temp. And for CSI's A/C comment, my wife will do that if she starts my truck in the summer. Never thought of using high idle for jumping.

High idle with the EBPV closed works well for warming up the truck on cold cold days and even just to bring water and oil up to temp on chilly mornings. These two mods work well together.

i don't think the EBPV helps that much in warm ups. there is only a 50 deg difference on my EGTs...

50*, plus a load on the motor... It helps.
