it's not neccesarely bad on the tranny. unless you drive with your foot to the floor all the time. i believe you can still use the edge for guages. but i'd get seperate guages. boost, pyro, trans temp. i've never had to pull a edge off. use the search on this site and see what you can find.

I'd agree with him I had a edge evo same as juice a little more HP, but not on the fly tunes. And got a ts with canned tunes and it's 100% better then the edge. Edge is good for other things just not 7.3's at all!!!
Now I still use the evo for gauges even tho I have pillar gauges also, but will be selling soon.

if you get rid of the edge completely, i suggest isspro guages. they're a little more expensive but they're great.

get rid of the edge, and dont look back at it. that is a chip/tuner for the uninformed.

i have the Autometer C2's and I like them

not impossible to achieve a little more boost with out breaking the bank. there are a few things you can do. one would be to shorten the waste gate actuator. the other is to bypass it entirely. higher EGTs more boost. would not rec-amend without pyro.

Thks hosser it is always better when someone has something to add and not just repeat what another said to up there post count. And I am getting better boost now because one of the first things I should of done and checked was to change the air filter still not getting to the twenties but I am getting more lower range boost which I wasn't getting which was the main reason for my concerned. Getting some .030 alum so I will making my dyi intake with in the next week so hopefully we will be reaching mid twenties thanks for everones help in this matter
