I have been looking at this mod and dont know much about it and was wondering who has done it and what kind of benifits will i get. also theres a front and rear by pass tube mod and are sold seperatly. if i do the mod do i need to buy both? Now i have a freshly rebuilt trans with a low stall converter. should I even do the mod?

I'm guessing it has to do with your transmission.. Never heard of it. What are you trying to fix/prevent?

 

If your talking about the trans cooler bypass mod. go for it. i had a problem with mine. it got stuck open and ran warm. when i had mine rebuilt i had it done. I do not remember if you have to pull the trans or not tho. im sure there is someone on here that has done it them self tho

 

im not really trying to fix or prevent anything, i was just searching the web and i found it on a web site for sale, its looks like just a shim, doesnt really explain what it does, just says its a by pass eliminator. theres a front and a back peice sold seperatly. Thats why i posted it up. I have no idea what it is or what it does, other than its for the transmission.

 

Leave it alone. Its there for a reason and works fine.
