The Evolution DOES take care of transmission functions in the 5R110 and it has for quite some time.

 

It is the new style of Evo. I've been told that I can get it reflashed but haven't really looked into that yet... Do you know how much it might cost btw?

 

What exactly can it do for the trans beyond adding line pressure? Is it able to access the TCM?

The only problem, even if it does do any of this stuff... they're really isn't much support for it... You're one of the only shops around that I know of that does the custom tuning for the Edge. I know a few guys on the vegistroke forum with 7.3's that use your tuning and have nothing but good things to say!

 

Edge can reprogram it, but we at PHP no longer support the Evo2 programmers for 95-03 7.3L trucks. If the programming on it is a few years old, you're better off keeping it the way it is rather than having newer programming put on it.
