hey i have a 2002 ford f150 XLT and i want to swap my 4.6 gas for a 7.3 diesel powerstoke has any one done this and how much will this cost and what all do i have to change beside the basic engine, transmission, and rearend. was it worth it? anything will help

 

if you have to ask how dont even try it . sell f150 and go buy f250.... cost way less to trade out your truck.

 

if i sell the truck i come out way in the hole cant afford to loose all that money so i am trying to do this and then to will last me a long time hopefuly

 

the only way to due the swap is tobuy hole doner truck but it will cost more then any amount you will lose on the f150 talking 5-10,ooo in parts plus aleast that much in labor...

 

I live in Lorain Ohio with an 04 f250 I want to put a Cummings in it to enter sled and truck pulls does anyone have any info or prices or places I can go to thanks.
