i have an automatic in my 01' F-250 but i wish it had a 6speed, would the conversion be possible?

I'd go for it. You'd have to find a tranny out of a junk yard as the zf-6 is ungodly expensive....why not swap something cool like a 10 spd in there?

probably a junk yard. Look around for old trucks or wrecked trucks, search craigslist, ask around. However, I think they use air to power the splitters and that crap so I don't know if you have to get your own air supply.

 

10 speed??? what are you gonne be pullin? that just seems like a royal PIA for a daily driver.
