if the truck didnt come stock with a cat then they cant make you put one on. a guy i know went through the same thing

yeah mine is the messed up year where it needs one. i bought the truck w/no cat, edge programmer, k&n intake. man im working my *** off just to get this damn thing visually inspected.

i finally found an air box but i still need a cat. these damn smog fools can be so picky but hell mine doesnt have black smoke and it runs DAMN good w/the programmer.
