Shut down temp?
First you need to move it... Just saying, its doing you no good there...
As far as a shut down temp, 350 or so is more then fine... Keep in mind there are a million + trucks out there and 95% of them do not have a pyro at all, get run hard and shut off the second they pull up to the house.
I wait until 400 most times, but if I am just tooling around town and have not been running it hard I will not even look at the pyro.

Most of your shut down talk is from old wifes tales... Newer oils do not coke the way old ones did. Anywhere below 350-400* and your fine. Like I said before there are MILLIONS of these trucks and motors out there with no Pyros that get used hard, pull up to the 7-11 and shut off.
Most times I allow my truck to "settle" down and then I turn it off, EGT's are about 350-400* at that point.

Mine will sit around *260 after startup and it's warm. My pyro is in the exhaust manifold. It takes 2-4 minutes from 340 down to 300, but it'll do it. When I worked on the larger engines (Colt-Pielstick, Paxman, ect.), we always idled to *250 before shutdown. That old habit is part of the reason I do it now.
