I took mine to the Ford Dealership for them to diagnose as my OBDII was not showing any codes. So, for 100 dollars they told me the IDM was bad in my 99 F350. I like you, ordered a remanufactured part for much less than Ford wanted and replaced it myself. However, I had bought a new fuel filter and cover from Ford (had a NAPA or aftermarket fuel filter) and the technicians used a screw driver to get it off after I had told them it had recently been changed and it wasn't the problem! Scarred up my new fuel filter cover; pissed me off!

Congrats on saving a ton of money! James
