I have heard alot of people say that they never had a problem before with their truck who went in for this recall, and then all of a sudden issues begun Mine has 105k on the clock with no issues, so far I have just put my recall in the corner. I can't afford for it to start acting up now.

Default Well

I have replaced more cam sensors then you can shake a stick at. Most go atleast 65,000 or so. I had 101,000 on mine before the first one went out. Havent heard any issues with the new ones.

yea i gotta letter in the mail about it, i just took it down to 5 star ford over here in dallas and they fixed her right up, at the time it was messed up though, some idiot that i payed to do the oil change only put 5 quarts of oil into it and it was starving and went in to lock mode or safety mode, and so for 4 months i had no clue what was up with it because i would check the oil level and it looked ok....but yea thats what it was...so i went do his shop raised hell and he got me new oil and an oil filter....and the labor was free...

So will Ford still replace these under the recall if the truck is out of the 5/100000 warranty??

i had an orignal black one. (fatory, 10 years old, never once a hickup) took my truck in for some electrical work and they replaced it without me knowing. so i asked for my old one back and they lost in a 15min. time frame.

as of now i have had to replace that dam thing 4 times.

if your orignal one works fine dont get it changed.. just buy a spare just my .02
