I have a customer running a 7.3 with injectors, DP Tuner and an ATS Aurora 3000. Runs quick for an old 7.3 with 185K miles.

yup i agree the 6.0 is ****, it may be faster then the 7.3 but my 7.3 out pulls all my friends 6.0s all day, ive had 2 friends streach the heads on there 6.0, one sent a rod threw the block and the other goes threw injectors about every year. i would rebuild my 7.3 time and time again b4 i buy a 6.0

the 6.0 has issues i know i have one, but ive put about 7000 in it and when it runs it screams......but if u dont want an expensive toy dont get one, no injecor problems yet....245000 on it got it at 200000, if u do get one put some money away for the shop!!

i believe that, i dont think that u can push them that hard, theres only 10 head bolts or studs per head as opposed to every other diesel, they just cant take it, i dont know what i have for rwhp but its probably around 400 to 450 with intake 5" exhast and 120 rwhp gt tuner, thats what they claim anyway and i dont know how much more i wanna push......

2006 is supposed to be the most reliable year, at least it had the least warranty claims. I would think there is more you can do with a 7.3.
