Quick history, 2003 ford f350 7.3 4x4, truck will not go into 3rd gear, reverse works fine, codes po723 (3-4 shift), po 603 (kam) (batt. was disconnected to reset original codes), oil is good and full, swapped VSS sensor, cleaned solenoid pack connector (was wet..possibly some trans fluid in there??) dropped pan, (no abnormal findings) pulled accumulator body and found 3-4 accumulator control valve sticky/binding (others moving freely) - cleaned it up, got it move smoothly and back in it goes Note: line modulator valve had no spring pressure like the other shift valves.. I assumed this was normal, (thought I had this one licked).. still no 3rd...good reverse, pulled accumulator off again, valve is still moving... so I am assuming (you know what you get from assuming) that it must be in the valve body somewhere (another valve?), now, I do not want to go into it without a diagram, so does anyone have a valve body diagram for this trans? Any comments or questions are welcome... just trying to get on the road again. Thanks
