a buddy of mine has an 2000 f250 and just had his pcm replaced due to frying the old one by accidentally running his edge evolution and dp tuner at the same time. Is it possible that the dp tuner is toast because the edge still works but the dp gives a SES light and no wait to start?

 

Absolutely possible if he tried reprogramming the PCM with the Evolution while the chip was still attached to the PCM.

Is he trying to run the Evo programming while using a chip? If so, he's wasting his time. Unless he's running the Evo just for the gauges (if it's not the Game Boy style), it shouldn't have done anything to the PCM with the chip on it (unless he did try programming the PCM with the chip still attached).
