I talked to a buddy today and he seems to think I might have a few spool valves on top of the injectors worn or scored when the motor is cold the oil is thicker and the scored spool doesn't want to more to give fuel pressure when truck is warm oil is thinner and spool moves like it should and truck runs OK what do you guys think

Like I said I'm a duramax guy, maybe my buddy thought I was talking about a 6.0?

Mine done the exact same thing. Check the oil. Probably is low, or needs a oil changed. I'm quite a lot of miles overdue for an oil change. And it really does it if it is low on oil.
