Is this the 2in by 5in breather that mounts to the valve cover on the driver side. this is were i suspect the oil comming from and how is it fixed. I think it is leaking from the two rubber connectors that lead into the manifold from the "Y" the clamps were not snug down at all.

Nope. It routes the gasses back into the intake. If you look at that piece on the valve cover, most commonly referred to as the dog house, there is an elbow that turns up and puts vapors back into the intake to be reburned. Over time the vapor will become oil, which is what you found on the inside of the pipes. So what you do is take the elbow on the dog house out from under the intake. Turn it sideways and run a hose down the truck to somewhere on the frame and let it vent the gasses out down there. Then of course cap off the part where the elbow went in to the intake so nothing gets sucked in there. Easy peasy

I have a question. I am pulling out all of the injectors and putting new o rings on them. I have drained the oil rails before pulling the injectors. After reinstalling the injectors I removed the glow plugs and turned the engine over with a socket three times. Is this sufficient for removing the oil that fell into the cylinders or do I need to put a siphon tube down the glow plug hole to remove it?

I'm worried about the hydrostatic lock in the motor does this occur because the oil is being compressed in the cylinder or the oil being compressed with the added fuel from the initial shot from the injectors. also I did siphon the first injector out and all that was removed was maybe a teaspoon of oil (if that) could this amount even be worth worrying about the webpage I got the info from did not specify the amount just potential hazards. sorry for all the ?'s poor man trying not to cost himself a truck by assumeing.

Don't know what the uvch is probably would have been easier, but I just went with the siphon tube trick down the injector inlet first replace injectors and then down the glow plug holes, left the glow plugs out and turned the engine over with a rachet calls for three revolutions but I went six replaced glow plugs and just bumps the engine over three times to see if it was going to stop on me and then proceeded to crank it over til it started.Took a few trys (by the way when you pull all eight injectors it will take a long time to get the supplied fuel and oil your looking for to fire the engine) I don't know if you saw my last quote but my truck decided to fix itself. (dont ask me lucus fuel injector is all I can guess one night ran like crap next day rock n rollin
